Where to go for one-day or multi-day photography trip in the Czech Republic?
Do you have a vacation and ask where to go in the Czech Republic? The Czech Republic is beautiful and without a doubt there are many interesting places. Some are more promoted, others less. In this article I would like to introduce you a beautiful, yet less known place … Broumov Walls national park.
Broumov Walls national park – description
The Broumov Walls are part of the Protected Landscape Area of Broumovsko, whose part is the much more famous tourist area Adrspach – Teplice Rocks, which has recently attracted more and more tourists.
The local environment consists of forests, wooded gorges and countless sandstone type rock formations . These formations form so-called rock cities. This area is popular not only for tourists but also for climbers who like this area just because of its uniqueness and variety of terrain.
The hiking trails of the Broumov Walls and its surroundings are not technically difficult. It is possible to plan several interesting one-day more or less challenging trail circuits. Therefore, such trips will certainly appreciate families with children.
What can be seen and photographed in the Broumov Walls?
Visitors and photographers can expect a large number of naturally shaped rocks that look like various objects, such as animals, or mushrooms … just engage the imagination.
In addition, you will find several outlooks and rock gorges where you can take beautiful photos of local landscape and nature. Also macro-photographers can find their place here, who can acquire interesting details of local fauna and flora.
Why go for a photo shooting or a trip to the Broumov Walls?
For me as a photographer focusing on landscape photography, peace and quiet are probably the most important. I do not like crowded places, noise and mess. Primarily, I search for lesser-known but still interesting places to shoot. There is more space and less stress during shooting.
Compared to Adrspach or Czech Switzerland National Park, the whole area is everywhere accessible and free of charge. Photos of the surroundings and the Broumov Walls will surely tell you much more, so enjoy it!
